My sweet little chicks all dressed up for trick or treating. We just went to the couple houses in our cul-de-sac. We met two neighbor families we had not met since we had moved in. Two of our neighbors had a little something special for the girls. I was blown away, and it got me thinking about how I can have more of a “neighborly” mentality. We followed the evening up with some take-out and called it a day.
Work has been extra busy for Joel lately, and so it has been a little busier at home for us, as well. Just a little stressful …. Joel and I had a date night, at the kitchen table, last night with some hot buttered rums and some leftover Halloween candy in an attempt to put the pause button on for a just a few minutes and catch our breath.
The heat is not working. The couch, some blankets and the movies the girls got at the library yesterday are all that is on the agenda for this afternoon. Here’s hoping the gas company can come today …..
