Everyday Beauty: Day Two

2 Sep

They organized a birthday party together.  They made the cupcakes.

:::A challenge to try and capture more of the everyday.   A little beauty amidst the craziness. A month to be a seeker of beauty.  30 photos to see the simplicity and loveliness of the here and now. :::

I am also joining in with Amanda for {this moment} – A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

What a neat moment! I love when littles find uses for things other than what they are used for!

Our moment this week is a hurricane prep momnet. A local berry farm had sent an email out asking for people to come pick their raspberries for fear that Hurricane Irene would destroy the berries and the bushes. We gladly went to “save the raspberries” and came home to make some wonderful raspberry jam!

    Have a great weekend!

    How colorful & fun! 🙂
Mine is just one of those moments where you sit back and watch the way your kids interact with each other and can’t help but feel like you are doing something right as a mom…

I really hope you’ll take a moment to come by! 🙂
